A new cocktail bar is due to open in an old adult store in Birmingham city center

Birmingham has suffered some severe losses in hospitality over the past year, so it’s good news that a new bar is about to open in the city.

Fox and Chance cocktail bar has applied to open at 45 Pinfold Street to bring Brummies a new drinking experience.

It’s housed in the former Private Shop unit, a few doors down from the Post Office Vaults Pub and near New Street Station, and has applied for a late-night license – which should be open until 1 a.m.

On their Facebook page, the owners describe the bar as “a carefully crafted menu of our own creations as well as everyone’s favorite classics. We look forward to helping you find your perfect drink!”

The cocktails on the menu include classics like espresso martini, as well as more original creations.

We love the sound of the Stone Fence cocktail, which “blends the sweet and flavorful nature of rye to create a great taste that is perfect for sunny days”.

The new venue will not only showcase a high quality beverage offering, but will also promote local photographers and artists by exhibiting their work throughout the bar.

Fox and Chance is named after the Chance Brothers and Charles Fox – celebrities in Birmingham history.
