A devastated bride was heartbreakingly told that after July 19, she still couldn’t have more than 12 guests for the wedding.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced at a press conference on Monday at 5 p.m. on Downing Street that the measures would be lifted.
But despite the announcement by Boris Johnson, some restrictions should remain in place.

Katie Meadows, 48, tied the knot on July 23, but says her Cleethorpes registry office wedding is still facing restrictions.
She and her partner Paul Chapman, 39, have been together for six years but have had to postpone their ceremony again and again due to Covid.
Katie said: “We originally booked the wedding for June 26th, 2020 without knowing what was coming, of course.
“When that was canceled, we moved the date to April 9, 2021. However, in February we determined that it was unlikely to happen, so we postponed it again to July 23rd.
“At that point, we had to change our announcements and pay three times. I thought that by changing the rules for the number of guests at weddings, we would be able to have 28 guests, but it wasn’t.
“I was told we were only allowed nine in the room, but with four children between us that would mean that either our fathers or our mothers would not be able to attend the service.
“When I was told this, I paid for a larger room that could hold 100 people, but we were then told they would only let 13 people in, including me and Paul.”
She explained, “We still don’t know if all the guests can come. I asked if on the day of our wedding all restrictions would be lifted, if they would change the number of guests they allow, and I was given a No.
“We can’t have more than 12 in a room there, but we can all go to the Petit Delight reception and have 30 guests, I just think it’s so bizarre.”
She added, “We tried to do this on a budget, but with the amount of money it cost us, we could have hosted our wedding in a large hotel that could have had more guests.
“It takes the fuss, but since this is the third time we’ve rearranged everything, we’re going to do it anyway.
“After all this time of saying that we can’t have any more guests, it’s gutting.”
