More than 80,000 people attended BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Coventry and we’ve got hundreds of pictures to help us remember it. The weekend, which is already going down in legend, saw around 80,000 people attend.
Some of the biggest names in music were at the War Memorial Park and our photographer Tristan Potter was there to capture everything on Saturday and Sunday. And now, he’s put together a gallery of a few of his favorite pictures.
Everyone has been reflecting on the events of the last few days, and Greg James summed it up on Radio 1 when he said “wow, wow, wow”. “We haven’t had a Big Weekend in person for years and what a Big Weekend we had,” he told listeners.
